Rick Kennedy

Rick Kennedy is now in the fifth decade of a decorated construction services career having founded Kennedy Construction® in 1981.

He is a widely experienced construction professional specialized in building and renovating significant commercial and residential properties with minimal impact on the environment and surrounding neighbors as demanded in highly-restrictive and environmentally-sensitive communities like Sanibel Island, FL and Bald Head Island, NC.

Rick earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tampa. He is a past member of Community Housing and Resources, Sanibel’s Community Housing Authority. Rick served twelve years as Commissioner on the Sanibel Fire Control Board having been appointed by Florida’s Governor.

In his spare time, Rick enjoys hiking and bicycling and serving, as he has for many decades, as a fill-in Police Officer for the City of Sanibel.

Kyle Moran

Kyle Moran is Principal of Moran Kennedy. Previously, Kyle led and co-founded, as Director of Investments, an ultra-high net worth single-family office based in Naples, Florida.

Beyond his extensive experience in family office management and investing, Kyle is also experienced in the acquisition, disposition and management of real estate, watercraft, aircraft, sports franchises and other operating businesses. Kyle has served as Executive Vice President and Senior Advisor to the Chairman of the Miami Marlins.

Earlier in his career, Kyle served as Analyst and Head of Portfolio Review for Private Capital Management a $30B+ asset management firm specializing in value equities that was sold to Legg Mason. He previously served as an investment banking analyst for Tucker Anthony Sutro in New York City.

Kyle graduated, with honors, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania earning a B.S. with concentrations in Finance and Management. He was Captain of the Varsity Golf Team earning Academic All-American, Ivy League Academic and Ivy League Athletic Honors all four years. Kyle earned an Executive MBA from the Columbia Business School. At Columbia, Kyle received Dean’s Honors and Distinction, was awarded the Melumad Memorial Prize for Outstanding Scholarship and Positive Community Impact and was named Valedictorian.

Kyle’s present board service includes:

  • Treasurer of the Board of The Village School of Naples
  • Board Member of the Bonita Springs Downtown Alliance
  • Member of the Lee County “RESILIENT LEE” Economic Recovery Task Force
  • Destination Ambassador for Bonita Springs with Lee County Visitors & Convention Bureau

Samantha Moran

Samantha Moran is a record setting licensed realtor, NABOR member and strategic real estate marketer.

Before entering the real estate field, Samantha enjoyed a successful career in local government including earning the distinction of Collier County Employee of the Year. Samantha earned her Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from Furman University in Greenville, SC and her Master’s in Sociology with Distinction from The University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.

Samantha is an active volunteer with many SWFL area not-for-profits.
